what to do ??? buy new V6 or wait for V8 or . .
Questions on what to do:
I have a budget of $699 a month for my daily driver and mostly concerned wtih cash flow vs overall cost. Silly but true for several reasons. and have no issues with putting a larger down payment to get to the $699 budget. I got rid of the 2011 CLS 550 and now have a rental from Dollar Rent-a car for a monthly fee. NOT BAD cost and the car is fine for now.
I have the opportunity to get a new V6 for MSRP for $81... and discounted to $75. the deal is $25,000 down, then $770 month for 84 mths at 3.99% TODAY. A little over the budget, but that is another story.
It still is a $75,000 car.
THE QUESTION(s) are:
$25,000 down payment
1). Get the V6 today (this week) / got to travel to get it (not an isssue)
2). Wait and get a V8 in 3 to 5 months / cont with a rental
3). Get a 2009 Maserati QP - gts (crazy but I love that car)
$15,000 down payment
I Keep my wifes benz s550 (white) with 21 HRE's / updated 2011 tail ights / rear trunk spoiler and we get her
4). 2007 Range Rover supercharged
5). 2008 Mercedes GL550 or a GL450
6). LEASE a range rover LR4 (only $6,000 down)
so would you wait and get a v8 vs getting the v6 today ??? My commute is all highway and live in south florida where there are mostly staight roads. Any Panni gets lots of future mods / wheels /suspension / painted brakes / front bumper / rear tail / blah blah blah
thoughts ???

$75k is a good price but 25k down and 84 monthes payment seems to be a bit rediculous but in order to get to $770 a month which is a crazy low monthly payment too.... my 2012 Panni S $110k with no down payment 3.99% APR 60 month runs $1990/month
Out of all your option - Panni is the best choice IMHO. If budget is an issue V6 is fun enuf to drive actually. Dont like QP or Mercedes. DO NOT get 2007 Range Rover too many issues all Land Rover built day before 2007, only get built day after 2007 due to dramatic improvement of built quality by Ford at that time.
Good Luck

Robert-
We opted for the V6 and have no regrets. The car is driven mostly by my wife but when I drive it I am impressed with the handling, pep, fit & finish and overall quality and features.
I don't really care for any of the cars on your option list so I'm probably biased.
Good luck with whatever you decide!

Financing any car for 84 months seems excessive to me.
I just got home with a 2011 v6 and did the 3.99% for 84 months. It's cheap money and help with cash flow. I plan on paying off within 3 years. But it gives me the flexibility.
so what was the total out the door price? any options on the car?

From what I'm finding you got a very good deal. Mind sharing the dealership and salesman? My wife is forcing me to buy her one so if anyone did better please share that as well.
Looks like I don't have a choice in what to buy (she loves the car) so I want the best deal possible.

I am driving a V-6 Panamera 4 today as a loaner. It is a nice car, but a notably different experience than my V-8 Panamera S. Plenty of pep around town, but it feels like a different car. I drive it much harder because I am always punching the V-6. I could definately live with a V-6 if it had the adjustable suspension, and 20" wheels (which the loaner lacks).
My other observation is how much the full leather interior and upgraded seats changes the Panamera experience.. The standard pebble grain dash and door trim is very obvious after living with the full leather.

I agree completely with this statement. I've now had 2 911s, one with full leather and one without. The difference in feel and elegance is very noticeable.
