2012 Panamera Turbo S

Picked up a 2012 Panamera Turbo S. Did a little bit of updating with a BMC air filter, IPD intake plenum and a Evolution Motorsports tune.

Some more pics of my ‘15 PGTS I came across. Including some of the Carmine GTS Interior Package.

i'd be interested in your initial thoughts and feedback on the plenum. i just watched the video below and i'm rather surprised by the gains made in the low range - these would appear to be very noticeable increases. since you also did a tune, was the car dyno'd - any thoughts on where your curves/final numbers are now? hard to believe that a plenum can have this drastic of an impact on power delivery. combine this with some exhaust mods and this car could be a monster. looking forward to your firsthand comments.

I did not dyno before and after for the tune. But, I did do some testing before and after for the intake with a Dragy (like a VBox). It netted me 3 MPH in the quarter mile and a .15 second improvement for 0-60 MPH performance. Stock I was getting about 3.8 consistently in 2500 DA and then tuned, about 3.6 and now it is solidly in the 3.4 range. Quarter mile picked up from about 116 to 120 then 123 with the inlet. So, pretty decent gains and somewhat surprising. The inlet does stick out a little more and has golf ball type dimples on the interior so their claims seem to be holding up. I picked it up on a recommendation from another PTTS owner who said you could actually feel the difference which means that the gains have to be somewhat significant.

Car is looking great man!! Looks so good in black, however i don't envy your upkeep although I'm sure the Ceramic Coat helps a bunch. Seeing your tinted windows reminds me how bad i need to get my done. Always something left to do!

Cheers!

Thank you SCRUBEN, I really like how it is coming along. You are right about the black, and yes the ceramic coating does make it a breeze to clean, still gets dirty it is just easy to clean with the pressure washer. On the tint I went with 18% The sun here in FL is something else.
Cheers!

i don't think you're allowed to mention that you've had something wrapped or painted and not show a pic.
let's see them.
