Trade 2010 E63 for Pan 4s or will I need the Turbo?
whatever happend to the folks who tried to convince me to buy a v6 instead v8 to save money? lol, you guys are bad influence! But i do agree you cant go wrong with the PTT, it is an amazing machine.
Look - I tried to save money with my 4S - then they gave me the damn PTT as a loaner - it had me at hello!
depends if you want to spend an extra 40 grand just on engine and little performance difference. Not worth unless you just have money like that, mainly status as well, if so go for the Turbo. Turbo 4.0 /// 4S 4.8 seconds 0-60

4.2s 0-60 for 4S

I have owned them both and the difference is night and day - both great cars just very different in all respects
Car and Driver gets 3.3s 0-60 for PTT

4.2s 0-60 for 4S

Thanks for doing this for me, I was going to say something similar.
I think the worst time that someone got for a PTT was 3.8sec to 60.
And just to point out it did the 1/4mile in 11.1 sec . Put an ecu tune and some cat bypass pipes.
I don't own a Panamera 4S or Turbo (wound up with a C63 and 997S cab), but have driven both pretty extensively. The Turbo is certainly wicked fast as a dragster, but somehow the 4S felt more nimble and fun to me. I recall one of the major British car mags reaching the same conclusion. I recommend test driving both, including some twisty roads.

So there is a noticabledifference with the powerkit turbos. I have virtually no lag. It feels like a N/A engine even in comfort mode, which I drive in 99%.
Turbo all the way, plus by the look of it, you can afford the 40 grand difference, on the other hand you really dont need all that power, the 4S does just fine under 5 sec's vs turbo under 4secs....
