Which Ipod works best with Panamera TT

I'm looking to consolidate all my music. Which Ipod works best? Will the 16Gb nano work fine?

Thanks

Yes. I bought a refurb direct from Apple and just leave it in the car hooked up all the time. Works perfectly.

I am using a 4th generation (I think; it's the generation before the current one) nano and haven't had any issues with it thus far.

yea was worried about getting the latest generation and having problems. maybe I'll stick with the 4th generation. 8Gb for $109 and 16GB for $129.

I tried iPod Classic, iPod Nano, iPhone. They work OK, although sometimes I get no sound when the track is playing and I have to unplug and plug it back for it to work. IMHO, using a usb stick is more convenient.

Ok Now I feel like an idiot. I didn't know a USB stick works. I think thats the cheapest and easiest as long as it works. Will give it a try.

My wife's MErcedes GL 350 takes SD card.
We just bought a Chevy Volt that takes USB stick and has a hard drive.

Thanks

I just put everything on a 8gb usb stick and that works great. Tuneraft is a great program that can convert all your downloaded music to mp3 format. easy as pie

I bought an iPod Classic about a month ago to use with my new 4S; works like a dream, plus I have every album I own on it encoded with Apple Lossless. Sounds amazing on the Burmester...

Even the first gen (USB stick) shuffle works - used that waiting for the cable to show up; have plugged in most types of iPods, from first gen to current iPhone, and all have worked fine.

My Ipod Does not Charge in Panamera, only plays

I recently purchased a 2011 Panamera 4. I have plugged my Ipod Classic into the usb interface and it plays just fine. The problem I have experienced is that when the Ipod Classic has been in the car for a couple of days, no music is played and I noticed that the Ipod Classic has run out of battery power. Should the Ipod Classic automatically be charged by the interface cord? Or do I have to remove the Ipod from the Panamera, and charge it in my home?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Sounds like you may have the wrong cord; you need the one that Y's, one end into USB, the other into the power port.

Def the Ipod Classic and in my opinion more music to grow with. I have both, but love the Classic for the cars.

Since I had an old iPod not being used, I've found a good use for it. I can keep it synched with my current play list so I prefer it over the USB.

iPod classic would be my choice. But I now stream Pandora and the iPod on my iPhone 4 thru the bluetooth. Classic isn't getting the work out it once did.
