I have a 2010 4S. I like to listen to the news/music on the satellite radio. From day one each time the XM/Sirius loses the satellite and then regains it, the radio comes off mute. This is not trivial, in my part of NJ on one 10 mile stretch it can happen five times.
My porsche dealer says they know about the issue but the factory have not issued a repair. Interestingly my wife has a 2011 Cayenne, which has the same electronics but no problem with the mute button, so Porsche solved it on the 2011 vehicles.
I tried Porsche North America but they were no help.
This is really irritating, does anyone have a solution?
