Angry Can't change i-Pod playlist??

I notice when I'm listening to the ipod and I try to go back to ipod or to source and select ipod, that it won't let you choose a playlist, it's not there. I have to go to source, select the radio and then go back to source and select ipod to choose a new playlist. Any ideas? Anyone else with this issue?

Did you try the back button on the radio next to the right round button on the right bottom corner? I can't go back to playlists through the dash screen or steering but I know somehow I can do it on the big screen. I'm away on vacation so I can't remember the exact way to do it but Back button with the backwards arrow should do the work.

Porsche never really condoned listening to music or drinking coffee in their cars. They only put those things in because it's hard to sell a $100k car without them.

I'm not sure I am understanding you correctly, but I know that the iPod doesn't load instantly. There is a slight delay during which the PCM "loads" the iPod, bluetooth telephone connections and Sirius/XM lists. It can only do these sequentially and not concurrently. Maybe a little time has to pass to give you your playlists.

That being said, many of the PCM units have had to be replaced because they were defective and the defects were weird and varied.
