19" OEM All-Season Tire Brands
19" OEM All-Season Tire Brands
I jumped ship from a Cayenne to a Panamera. My order is getting ready to lock and I have a question that hopefully someone can shed some light on first hand.
Going with 19" Turbo wheels and may need some All-Season rubber. While the car wont be driven in the snow often if ever, my concern is that the summer tires wont perform well in the cooler temps here in the Mid-west. On the configurator, you can get "standard" tires as a no cost option, I will assume these are all-season since summer tires are standard. There is also a 150.00 option for All-Season low rolling resistance.
On Tire Rack, the OEM all-season Contiprocontact (also low rolling resistance-btw) show so I would assume that would be the "standard" no cost option and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (that are far more expensive) must be the 150.00 option. If the above is true, than great, I can spend the extra 150.00 and case is closed. However I see many in stock cars that have 19" Turbo wheels with Goodyear Eagle LS's on them and I dont even see that as an option on the build sheet (as standard rubber) or even on Tire rack as an available OEM install.
Has anyone ordered "standard" or the optional 150.00 all season low rolling and if so, what tire brand did you receive? Better yet, if you have 19" wheels, what brand tires came on them and did you specify all season (of either type) or nothing at all?
Any help is appreciated, thanks much.

I will pick up my Panamera 4 that I ordered in September today. I ordered the all-season tire with reduced roll resistance. Saw and inspected the car yesterday and the car had the Michelins.
Thanks dochusar that answers my question, and your pics look great, same color combo that I am getting.
I went with a stock order for a larger discount and it has the Eagle LS2's. The Eagles are a all-season rubber even though summer tires are standard...maybe they put those on because its 2WD.
I am going out of town so I am picking it up the 7th. Sending some 7mm rear spacers for install before I pick it up and will post some pics after delivery.
