Would the basic black trim be comparable to the piano black we can see in BMW's?

A couple thoughts. First of all, there is a DISTURBING LACK OF HIGH QUALITY PHOTOGRAPHS.

Perhaps I'm more sensitive to this because you've ordered my exact color scheme. But you do have a responsibility to the community here...

Second, I notice that we have three previous E60 owners on this thread. I'll start a 'why not the new M5' thread, not directed at bashing the new M. I really struggled with this decision, and would be interested in any other informed points of view.

Umwolverine, youre having last minute doubts. Its normal and just shows that you have put a lot of effort in the choice. Trust me, when the car arrives, you will not be disappointed and youll forget all about the BMW.

After 500 miles, I have to agree. Incredibly comfortable on long drives, wonderfully engaging in sport or sport plus. Exhaust note is really well done, great rumble and kick-back whenever you let off the throttle - especially in sport.

Question: What exactly do you get with the Carmine Red or Silver interior package, other than deviated color stitching? This interior looks exactly like those ... yet they are $3000+ options. What am I missing?

Must be a very expensive dye...

And don't forget the different color seat belts. It does look great - just not my particular style.
