Anyone paint their SPyder wheels black?

I am thinking of painting my 20 inch Spyder wheels black to get the Sport Wheel look. Anyone done this or have pics of how it looks on a car? I think it looks something like this:

Uh the black one would look great with aftermarket dark colored wheels!

I wouldn't change the wheels on this car - they, and the whole car look terrific. If you do go to black, I think you'll need to change the chrome trim to black as well.

Agree on that one! It looks great with dark painted wheels, but you need to loose the chrome trim to complete the look.

In sunlight the carbon grey is not that dark. Maybe I should leave the outer rim unpainted similarly to the sport wheels? Then it might look better.

That would be the right choice! We do that with our dark paint schemed wheels, leave a machined stripe, it adds to the overall contrast better.

Thanks for the imput everyone. The problem is that the rim edge is so wide and grey, so it has to be painted silver/chrome so it is less wide. I spoke with the painter and this is what he suggests too.

I would love the SPort wheels, but these cost me a lot, they are not forged and getting rid of 20 inch Panamera rims albeit in perfect condition is impossible in a small country like this with only a few Panameras...
