thanks Kip....I have always had oil consuming engines from BMW/Porsche/MB...anything really that made 400-500HP seems to love Mobile 1. I do drive a mixed bag. 14 miles to work and back, 3 miles to the gym. But 2 days a week I have highway driving for 75 miles no traffic. While I am not surprised at 1qt every 1000 miles, it is something I will live with . I love my PTT....and she loves me, hehe.

Thumbs up hi

i have p4 v6 2013.Only two complains. 1.the old whistle noise. here is the link to the topic https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...er-speeds.html
number two , the bose system sounds cheese on fm or xm , mp3 are fine. Other than that 7500 so far and everyting works great. we average 18mpg on every day driving but on the long hwy trips 31mpg ! that is impressive.Maybe everyone should get v6 , looks like less problems.

Under hard breaking I am getting a heck steering oil level light. Goes out after I hit the gas again. I too get the creaky suspension on cold days over bumps for the first few minutes.
Mine does not seems to be consuming oil. I've only added 2 quartz in the first 2k miles. 6k miles now and the oil gauge is still at max.

Just added my first qt at 20,000 miles. Changed oil at 2,000 and 14,000.

Was this all covered under the warranty?

Trim loose

It seems when I'm getting in and out of my new Panamera, my right shoulder is hitting the trim on the pillar and causing it to come loose. I'm sure I'm not the only one but is there a way to make that trim more sturdy, there is a slight gap now where the two pieces come together which is annoying.

2000 miles now and no issues. Does a low oil lite come on as an indicator of needing oil or do I have to check externally (my 550i needed oil every 1000 miles or so)? My only comment is to be aware of the paring space bumpers which I have hit a couple of times.

It'll warn you when the oil needs to be top up.

Has anyone faced such a crunching noisy in the front suspension? Happens to my car all the time and dissappears after you drive it for 10-15 minutes. For what it's worth, my car has the PDCC installed.

I had noises in my front passenger suspension. The dealer replaced the lower control arm and sway bar bushing and the noise went away. Good luck!

Oil consumption of 1 quart per every 600 miles in a Panamera Turbo is considered within the norm by the company. This is something we all need to put up with. My car has over 70k mileage now, I had to top up 1 quart per every 2.5k - 3k miles during the first 30k miles, then it got worse up to 1 quart per 600 miles (but never got below that mark). I mentioned this to the dealer many times, they always told me this is within the normal range (does not sound normal to me considering that I almost never push it to the limit).

Anyways, they have recently replaced the oil separator (under the extended warranty) and the consumption got back to 1 quart per every 2.5k-3k.

btw, my PT is one of the first produced, so I had tens of serious technical issues during the 4+ years I have owned it. Despite the whole-hearted love for the car, I can honestly say it is full of bugs. If anyone is interested, I can share my experience.
