newbie question

Good day guys,

My buddy got 2010 Panamera turbo bone stock, and 500hp is not enough for him anymore. He is clueless about anything tuning related, so he asked me to help him. As I understand Giac tune is a way to go as it gives around 80hp, and AWE is only one makes downpipes for these cars. I searched this forum, but didn't find much info. Does anyone know how restrictive are the stock downpipes? I come w211 AMG, and in our case, headers is a must, but I don't know much about Panamera engine tunes.

Thanks!

ECU tune (few different options) and down pipes should be sufficient for about $4k. If you want to get more power then you might need a reinforced PDK tranny to handle the power which raises the price astronomically.
I prefer EVOMS tunes.

Sport auto magazine dynoed the new M5 having 620bhp, whereas the PTTS had "only" 555, but as the PTTS beat the M5 in every possible measurement, except consumption, it is clear it has atleast that much power, so I am willing to bet the pdk handles most of the tunes.
