Nothing seems to be wrong, traction control is turned off that's what you see in the instrument as an amber light.

 

How about the boost? .4 bar it's not even close to .8-1.0 under hard acceleration, it should be at least at 0.8 bar.

Very good point and good eye I didn't catch that. Now I wanna race a new cls63 and check my boost 0.4 seems very low, u'r right. I remember seeing another video of a TT cls63 going head to head with a PTT though. It's depressing lol

 

0.4 is what I get when I'm in low to mid acceleration getting groceries , If you see the color of the SC is dark brown (red, dunno as Im color blind) which means this guy was kicking in the SC mode. This guy has got to have some ****ty gas or really hot weather or some other crap.

If you count from 1:44 when they start moving to 1:56 is only 12 seconds, I think the SC works for at least 15 secs.

I would email him and let him know his car is screwed up.

 

Plus, I have raced the CLS63 before and it's not that much faster even with the PP.

This race feels like if the guy was racing a Veyron.

Wow, you are right, with the powerkit I am seeing 1.0, and I think max is 1.2, so stock should see the same as I see without the overboost=0.6-0.8. This explains it.

there is definitely something wrong with that panamera i suspected that on the previous video but now i am pretty sure the way they pull on the panamera on the straight line after 150+ is unbelievable !! its like a panamera v6

 

ANd yes he is in overboost as the dial is ORANGE....

 

Very unfortunate for the Azerbaijani kid who owns the Panamera I'm Turkish so I can understand what they're saying but all they talk about is the speed which is also on the screen

Maybe there is a leak on the hoses or something.

By the way, I remember seeing a black PTT with evoms piggyback on this forums videos who used to say that after piggyback tune the car wouldn't pull as hard at higher speeds. I wonder if this is the case here? I have evoms piggyback on my car and I was planning to get GIAC tune instead, I'm really curious to find out what the problem is with this specific PTT.

 

I remember seeing this somewhere and if I'm not mistaken the guy returned the unit back to Evomsit, and he went with another tuner. This was couple years back.

Are you experiencing the same thing with yours? I would love to take both cars for a ride and see what's up. I was thinking on going with Evomsit myself as this is what my dealer down here offers, but if you have the same problem I will definitely look elsewhere.

Do you want to take both cars for a ride one of these days? I saw your in Miami thats why. We could find someplace safe and double check, I'm completely stock save for the BMC filter, we could compare if it's worth it or not.

 

Please keep us posted. Im considering something similar on my Panamera Turbo and concerned about real world results based on what I'm reading. Going with GIAC tune, Fabspeed downpipe with sport cats and xpipe combo and IPD plenum. Thanks for any updates.

 

I was going for FVD's catless down pipes, plenum and Evomsit. I was told to leave stock exhaust for now, that the downpipes would bring some roar with the stock system.

We shall see.
