sport plus question

I have a 2011 P4S. question one: Is my sport button std because its an 's'?

Secondly, I also have the adaptive air suspension (two stages) and PASM, I am wondering if I add the sport chrono package what am I gaining besides the clock and the sport plus mode and launch?

will my stage one sport button be any different then the stage one sport mode if the car has the sport chrono package?

thanks

With PASM and Sport Plus the car will lower by 25 mm and the suspension stiffens even further. This doesn't happen with "just" Sport mode.

I've test driven a Pan S and 4S and neither had the sport chrono package, yet had two stages of sport hidden within the Sport button. You get messages on the dash display telling you sport and then sport plus.

In a car equipped with PASM as an option in the absence of the "sport chrono package", the car does not lower by a full 25mm when you toggle the "sport" button in the absence of a "sport plus" button.Toggling the suspension button twice however - which is evidenced by 2 LED lights on the button as opposed to one when in "sport" LOWERS THE CAR 25mm- same level as "Sport plus" in a car equipped that option.
HOWEVER: In the absence of the "sport plus" button, you do not get the even more aggressive engine/gear box mapping unique to sport plus and do not get the launch control feature - at least you get the same taut suspension and ride for your spirited drives.

The indicator in the dash does actually cycle from PASM NORMAL-> PASM SPORT -> PASM SPORT PLUS even in the absence of the sport plus button when you independently toggle the suspension button.
Toggling the "sport" only brings on the "sport PASM" bypassing the need to toggle the suspension button - would be the case in the OP's car
Similarly, toggling sport plus in a car equipped with sport chrono directly activates PASM SPORT PLUS
