Hey guys,
the other day I tried my friends GTS, and really liked it. I have the S with the turbo exhaust etc. I want to ask, what is different between the S and GTS (besides the body). I noticed the car has better sound (although the same exhaust) and seems a bit faster.

GTS is more track ready!! A GTS says that you are not over the top (turbo) and that you are not run of the mill ( S ).

 

Still looking for the answer for the sound... What's the difference between the S with Turbo exhausts and the GTS.. The GTS has much better sound, as I could see, the exhaust seems to be the same...

Th GTS has the sound symposer (like the new 991) which pipes the exhaust sound back into the cabin. This is the only Panny that has this feature. I also found the PDK is updated and much more responsive on the GTS than another year old S I drove (this could be a function of the model year). The GTS is amazing and the Panny I would get. I'm waiting to see what the facelift due out this looks like before I move on it.

 

your S is RWD and the GTS is AWD. GTS is faster because it has 30 more hp than your car has. btw, a RWD porsche is a little bit easier to maintain than AWD.

 

It also has a Turbo spoiler, turbo cams, it rides 10 mm lower than a normal Pani and the letters GT in front of the S. haha
