all the after market mufflers have better sound than stock
I would go to their web sites and listen
ie fabspeed or tubi

I replaced my cats with 200 cell fabspeed cats and replaced the resonator with an x pipe all fabspeed and kept my stock sport exhaust and sounds great

+1. I very much agree and did the same exhaust mods on my PTT. I am very pleased with the results, especially combined with intake and ecu programming.

I'm getting my PTT installed with the Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system hopefully this week or next. Still waiting for the shipment to arrive. Ended up with this as it still utilize the factory exhaust button. Will get a GIAC tune soon and most probably a 200 cell downpipe as well in the future.

Here's a video of the exhaust:

If you are going with the 200 cell and GIAC, I would recommend doing all the add ons first and AFTER everything is installed THEN I would do the tune.

The problem is that if you do the tune first, for you to really take advantage of the downpipe, you will have to include it in the tune but they will charge you again for the re-tune of the add on, and last time I checked it was pretty substantial.

Just my $0.02

Definitely! The previous version of the same exhaust was quieter. Glad they made a revision to it.

I'm aware of that, thanks! I tend to change things slowly so I do not get bored of the car that fast which is why I am saving the tune and 200cell for later when I feel that I want the car to be faster.
