does anyone have any recommendations for air intake filters?

BMC is the only one's I know of. You have to remove front bumper to install them though

BMC but never heard of removing the bumper to replace air filter??
they didnt remove mine

they must have removed your bumper, unless something has changed from 2010 - 2013

"Porsche was kind enough to hide the airbox behind the front bumper. So in order to change out your air filter you must remove the front bumper"

Front bumper has to come off for the BMC.

Damage should not be more than 1 hour labor. My dealer found a "campaign" and did it for free . Some other dealer quoted me $135.

Sound is weird at most, it sounds like there is a air leak on the 970TT. On the 997TT sounded like a whistle which in my opinion is better.

Haha... It's not that bad, but if you listen closely you can hear it.

Past 20MPH you can't hear it.

Can anybody wax poetic on the benefits of this aftermarket system? I haven't heard anyone extolling any of its virtues specifically. Only that it's "great"
