I am due for my first 10K service. What should I expect to pay from the dealer? Is this more than an oil service?

 

I just had the altrnative to this service...2 years...completed on my 4S. My `11 Pana has about 8800 on the odometer and the technician explained that Porsche recommends this 2-year service for cars that aren't driven a lot. The service included an oil change, filter, and thorough vehicle inspection (afterwards, they gave me the check-list). They also recommended a brake fluid flush, to which I agreed. The cost for the 2-year service was $550 and the brake flush was another $150.

 

$550 seems a bit excessive. I got my 2 year service, oil, filter, check list, for $212 including taxes.

They recommended new tires and that was it and everything else checked in. I picked up the car at 4PM and dropped it off at 11AM.

Leslie, besides oil and filter, what else did they do to your car?

Just had the 10k service done on my '13 PTT. $381.50 out the door. Not the cheapest around but I took their loaner for a day since I did not want to wait.

 

I also requested that they replace my wipers. That was $75.74, which was part of the $550. So, I guess we're talking about $474.00 for the annual service. You still got the better deal!

 

Thanks guys. I called the dealer today and he quoted me $450. Sounds in line of what you guys are saying. Maybe a little high. If this really only is an oil change that is expensive oil.
