Any idea as to when 2014 GTS can be ordered?
Nice spec, you've got all the essentials. Just a few minor things I'd consider-
Soft-close doors- the Panamera's doors aren't difficult to close by any means but it's an inexpensive feature that wasn't available until recently. But then again that's just me, and I like little gimmicks like that
The rear/side roll-up blinds are nice, pretty cheap too considering they're electric. Even with the thermal glass I notice it's cooler in the rear with the shades up after the car's been sitting in the sun.
I would do Car Connect. Literature says that you can control the locking of doors, windows and folding in of the exterior mirrors from the app, and with Remote Status you can check whether the doors or windows are open, what the current tank level is and mileage all remotely from the app.
I think the retractable luggage compartment cover is worth the $150. It's soft so you can fit some irregularly shaped objects under it with no problems and it's easily retracted out of the way if you need to fill the boot to the top.
I'm not sure how often it rains or snows where you are, but the rear wiper is worth considering. The rear isn't as nice visually with it and it lacks a washer, which is why I didn't order it on mine, but in rainy Vancouver I'm finding rear visibility to be difficult without it. The flat-ish rear window means rain doesn't roll off as easily as it does on, say, an SUV.

If now available, I would 100% get the soft close doors....since they have the hydraulic arm feature on them to stay open in any position (which is awesome), you have to purposely close them if instead, you flick them shut like you would on a 911, they almost never fully close, and you have to open them and then shut them again not a major issue, but annoying nonetheless. I had no idea was an option I have it on my wife's S550, and it is great!
Great choice. You'll love the car.
