Panamera Turbo Power Upgrade Rec's

Hello gang. I'm new to the forum. I have a 2011 Panamera turbo with sport plus, etc that i have decided to upgrade.

I am having Agency power exhaust installed tomorrow am at Vivid Racing here in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

In addition to that, I am thinking of adding carbon fiber y-pipes, and an ECU upgrade or Powerkit install.

It was very very easy and relatively inexpensive to add ~65 rwhp to my Cadillac CTS-V Wagon, which by the way, sounds so much better, aggressive, meaner with the supercharger + exhaust than the quiet PTT does.

I'm looking for sound, power/torque, and more seat of the pants from my beautiful panny.

what are your recommendations and differences between the 1) EVOMSit Power kit and the, 2) SpeedART porsche ECU Upgrade kit.

what else would you all recommend for the car. safety/durability/intact warranty are important.

last, who in arizona does masterful tuning work on this car?

i will be searching the forums in the interim, however any guidance would be much appreciated.

thanks so much.

for increased power, I like the IPD plenum, BMC air filter, fabspeed 200 cell cat downpipes, resonator delete and muffler and ECU flash of choice all are pretty good
that gets ya about 80-100 more ponies
that should do it!

The AWE track edition exhaust and replacement downpipes makes for a pretty aggressive exhaust note if that's what you are after. Their touring system is a little mellower and probably what I would choose if I was going to do one, I've just struggled with the cost of the exhaust and the cost of installing the downpipes since the transmission has to come out to get to them. I've looked into having several systems installed and any way I sliced it I was going to have to spend $6,000-$8,000 for an exhaust and that's tough to justify.

These are known good upgrades and well validated. I have the same combo with GIAC tuned for 91 oct.
Here's an example of just an ecu upgrade alone on a PTT. Easy upgrade, and you'll love your beast even more afterwards. Good luck.

dont think the tranny comes out, may have to drop the cross member. my entire exhaust removed and replaced was about $1000 for labor at the dealer.

It is nice to have a true ECU recalibration that you can turn on or off at the push of a button, right?

With 91 octane, you should see similar gains to this, which are greater than anything else on the market. Panamera Turbos are definitely one of my favorite cars to drive with a software upgrade. They are brutally quick and very unassuming.

At the crank, you will see about 575 horsepower and 620 ft. / lbs of torque out of a Non-S model.

I'd recommend doing a bit of research on piggy back modules before you make your decision.

I did IPD Plennum and GIAC software. The Plennum was done first and improved performance "on boost" but added a bit of lag around town, takes just a brief second to pack in the extra air, but once in car works better on all fronts.

I then added GIAC software and it is the best mod you can make for the money. Nothing else will have the same performance impact as this. The car has improved tip in, less lag, more on boost power at all RPM levels. And "on boost" the car is just that much faster with added hp and torque across the power band.

I have modded a lot of Porsche's over the years and have found GIAC to be very reliable and great to work with. I would not do any tune that was not a full software upgrade. GIAC also provides the controller allowing you to convert back to stock in minutes should you wish to do so for a visit to the dealer.

Exhaust will add to things a bit, but unless you really need the sound it is an expensive mod for the performance gains you receive in return. There are many good options out there, but don't underestimate the time and money that went into Porsche's engineering of the exhaust system.

Good luck with your search - you won't be disappointed with the addition of some upgrades, they really do add to the fun of the car and make it that much faster!

I do not understand the modification what it is. The first race the car had all mods right? Or is it stock and after the mods is where it beats the RS?
