Unique problem for new Panny owner

Hello guys, I bought 2011 V6 Panamera with 16K miles 3 days ago and I encountered this problem.
My trunk opens itself....
I lock my car at the evening and came to it two hours later and found out trunk was open.
I'm positive i didn't touch trunk button on my key fob.
Also i started using my spare key in case my key fob sends signals to my car.
This happened once every day, again this morning. Its certainly very annoying issue which has to be taken care of immediately. So, I am wondering if anyone encountered this problem and how its been solved.Thank you and I am excited to be part of this very active community.

Let me guess you have a 2-4 year old kid.

If you do, problem solved!

If you don't, then dealer will be a good place to start.

Good Luck man, and welcome to the P family.

No kids and dealer is 150 miles away..
So that's why i am trying to find solution without going to the dealer.

Dealer 150 miles away is a pain I share, but once the car is back up and running, it'll bring your smile back. Try combining your trip to the dealer with some other fun activity and call ahead if your dealership may have a loaner available while the issue is looked at. All the best.

Have you checked the battery in your key fob?

As mentioned by Tripleblack I would check the key fob battery. Also does it only happen when the car is locked and not when it's unlocked?

Overly sensative remote key?

Have you tried calling the dealer?

You can try swapping or replacing the batteries, although results are not guaranteed.

If you have two fobs, take the battery out of one for few days to see if it continues, then do the same for the other. Just to eliminate one of the fobs having a issue with sensitivity or damage.
