Updated tail lights

Since the 2014 Panameras have mostly all red tail lights and you now finally have the option of getting the factory tinted lights (as on Cayenne), I decided to try the look on my 2012 PTT.

New tails just blow away the older ones... I was hoping to find some more examples of tinted tails.

Below are a few photoshops with "candy red" and a touch of black tint... no coverage on white. Boxster-esque

Is it plug and play installation or it needs customizations?

I wonder how many of you tried to first spray clear part in red and then spray smoke it? My local shop offered this option for me, but I'm worried that the red that they will use to cover clear part may not match with OEM red.

Any thoughts?

I have the new taillights with the factory tint as an option. I will take picture once I get my car tomorrow morning. It is currently in transport from the dealer.

Congrads! Nice selection. Which engine option did you get?
