Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan

Has anyone opted for this? I'm looking at '14 GTS and for the GTS, it equates to:

- 3 years (30,000 miles) $1,400
- 4 years (40,000 miles) $2,400
- 5 years (50,000 miles) $2,850

Plan does not cover parts or services not listed in Maintenance Guide such as mechanical breakdown repairs, hoses, brake pads, wheel alignment and balancing, tires, and wiper blades.

Thoughts??

Definitely negotiate the price before you buy from the dealership, but it seems like the prices are pretty high. I think every 10K miles is just a oil change ($200).

Why does Porsche have to replace spark plugs every 4 years or 40,000 miles? I've attached a copy of the detailed maintenance program and I just thought it was strange that Porsche can't put in spark plugs that go longer than that!
