4s with sport package vs gts

SO am debating between getting the 4s with sport package vs getting a gts .. What is the real difference. Any thoughts or considerations I should be thinking about ?

new or used? If it's new - the 4s now has the supercharged v6 while the gts has the na v8.

probably the exhaust note, otherwise pretty close and doubt for daily driving would otherwise notice much difference

because of the size and weight of the car I personally think the PDCC is a must

I have a GTS ...the PDCC is 100% required if you even remotely enjoy spirited drives Keeps this 2 ton car "flat as a pancake" at all times ...its just amazing body roll? what is that?

PDCC is a must! I 2nd and 3rd that note. Also, I think the 4s and GTS are very different cars. You likely have to drive them to figure that out, that's a difficult one to figure out through others' experience. I should be taking delivery of my '14 GTS in about a week and I never considered the 4s.

The PDCC is remarkable. My wife keeps an upright water bottle on the backseat floor. A lot of the driving we do is up and down hills and on very twisty roads and the bottle almost always stays upright. You have to do some pretty severe maneuvers to get it to fall over. I'm really happy we got the PDCC.

Cool

It's a tough one... I mean to find out if every option will be to your fullest liking after a few months or so. I'm in a similar boat. I would like to be sure that, like the PDCC for example, will meet and exceed my happiness meter after I own it for awhile.

I have learned that although chat is a great tool, it is the butt-o-meter that in the end will dictate which options you will like, and everyone has a different meter.

I am pining for the GTS, and would even take a flight to Germany, so that I can try different vehicle's as well as the same vehicle with different options. I think I'll write Porsche and ask If I can do that....

Thanks achawdhry for the great idear'...!

I think you will find if you load up an 4S with all the options and performance options of the GTS, it will be more expensive. And you still won't have the GTS suspension, exhaust and optimized shift patterns.

So if you are getting a 4S you might find that the GTS is a better deal.

Good luck finding what you want.
