i bought 3 of them the white my daily drive ,, in month and over 2000 mile beside the look its simply the best car i ever drove .. 25$ to fil tank and jut keep fil the tank no range anaxiety like the tesla,,
The challenge though is spare parts are in finite supply - nothing has been produced in over 1.5 years. The dealers can fix what they can but there are no replacement electronics or batteries available - the battery manufacturer went out of business.

I think it is a fantastic car and it puzzles my why it did not succeed and the Tesla should have failed.

I have toyed with the idea of buying one daily - absolutely the most beautiful car made presently.

bad management henrik is one of top designers very talented but not good CEO. LOOSING 500 CAR in Katrina , main suppliers bankrupt specially the battery maker A123 , TWEAKING IN DESIGN many times specialty for the muffler build cost over 150k selling the car for 120k ..

all these factors lead to burn over billion dollar.. and run out of money fast

Richard li bought the DOE loan , this good news

now mr. li he own multiple technology company and i think you wil see new generation of fiskers cars .. henrik on his team hopefully will stay as chief designer .. far away from the check book..

I checked out the fisker when I was shopping cars. I thought the user interface for the fisker sucked and there was no headroom in the back seat. I also didn't like the fact the the batteries wouldn't recharge when the engine was running like the other hybrids i have seen. If they keep going down maybe ill get one. The new panamera hybrid coming out at the end year looks good and might work better

the new panamera plug in hybrid is a joke.. i know guy who tested one in Arizona the battery to small 4 hours charging Porsche advertise 22 mile but actually you lucky if you get 15 in hot day or cold day..
fisker 50 mile they advertise with nano phosphate technology and the way the car charge battery FROM SOLAR ,BREMBO BRAKES, RDM on deceleration ,, can get 40 mile .. why you need the engine to charge the battery using more fuel not saving on gas.. in plug in panamera you can do that too compensate the battery small size ,in fisker the engine not connected to the wheel its just a generator tap off the battery 7 gallons take you to 300 mile averaging 50 mpg... no range anxiety
the price actually increase 15% since that Friday when DOE SOLD THE LOAN to Richard li..

I think the average battery mileage was around 30 miles. the solar never charged the battery. It only helps run the a/c. When you put it in sport mode the engine is running all the time why not send the extra power to the battery? My insight did it.

that's what i use to get on stealth around 32 , but if you put the car in HILL 2
and drive in town 40-50 mph the needle between accelerate and charge you will get extra 10 miles ,, not exceeding the 50 mph ( usually my driving 98% in city)
you are correct the solar does not do heavy charging it may add 300 mile a year but help mostly IN A/C ENTERTAINMENT and this help battery to use for driving
the solar help lot in hot are like we like in area where usually triple digits 110 the solar will activate the a/c when you park in the sun ..

Im in louisiana. We don't have many hills for regenerating in hill mode. Are you in a hilly area or just use it when slowing down. I noticed it adds a load when in hill mode. Does it cause additional wear on the brakes?

no ..has nothing to do with brakes... its rdm/ motor friction .. you don't need hills.. you drive on flat road daily drive in hill 1 or 2 mode keep needle close to generate hill 2 work better for me.. btw fisker brembo regenerative braking pad last to over 180k mile they don't ware off easily that's 10 times panamera brakes and rotors @ 2k = saving over 20k just on brakes

gently used ones are a screaming deal - one just sold by me 400 miles 50k.

Problem is warranty is now limited to $2000 on old cars and no one knows when they will start production again but I will get one when they restart production - they are with certainty the most beautiful car made.
