supercup is infamous around these parts
I am at the moment of trueth on this issues as well. I have a 2012 PTT

My car came with Pirelli - go 13K the fronts were corded - rears might have gone a bit furhter.

I replaced with PS2 Mich. Lot quieter - very nice - I run Porshce higher recommended pressure - which ends up 45 hot. Now at 33,000 miles -so 20k on the PS2's - both the front and rear are at the tread bar indicator (2/32 nds).

So do I got PS2 again or PSS - PSS has 30k warranty vs 20k for PS2, so I presume a harder compound with a bit less performance.

I am driving enough miles that I think the PSS is the way for me to go at this point just to see the difference.

I guess this is my Christmas present!
