I have an EU spec Panamera Turbo and I spot on some other Panameras in YouTube that next to the boost pressure scale on the instrument panel there is small turbine icon and I don't have it. Any ideas why?

 

I have a 2010 (US spec) and mine also does not have the turbine icon. I wonder if a software update is available to enable the display?

 

I guess we have to check with the dealer. It seems nobody knows...

 

I think its an update ONLY on MY '12 and on maybe some '11 have them.

 

It came the same time as the turbo S. It Was 2011. It sadly is not possible To upgrade as the pcm is newer.

 

What if i buy the new PCM? Is it going to work in your opinion?

 

I think only a Porsche tech can answer that, am not sure even he can.
The thing is that it is going to cost much more than anyone would (I think) be willing to pay for a slightly different type of look, without any other improvement, so havent seen anyone try this yet.

 

I have a 2011 PTT and have the turbo boost icon. Truthfully, I've never really looked at it since this car goes too fast for me to look down at the boost pressure.
