1) Why alacantra on a GTS build?

For someone who is considering the GTS for a daily driver, is there any reason to choose the alacantra seat option? It looks to me that in a year or two the alacantra seats just get completely trashed.

 

I like the feel of it and it doesn't feel as cold or hot as just leather would be.

I've had it for almost 1.5 years and I don't see any bit of wear on it yet.

 

Thanks NiceCar. I haven't seen it in person, but some used vehicles with alacantra seats appear really weathered. I appreciate the input.

Because the GTS is suppose to be the "performance' panamera and alcantara is used for performance (light weight). I would still go full leather and keep just the headliner in alcantara.
