Panamera Paddle Owners - Thoughts?

Been messing around with these for months and months to come up with a inexpensive solution yet function for those with the PDK Sport Design Steering Wheel (paddles). Making an entire paddle shifter that is larger out of billet is pretty complete or even carbon. Plus this involves removing your steering wheel, airbag, etc... Nobody got time for that! So we came up with this slip on carbon fiber paddle shifter that fits over the factory aluminum ones extending it about 1 inch top and bottom and about 1/2 inch outward.

The piece is made in 2 halves with 2 layers of carbon fiber with a glossy clear coat finish. The inside section is trimmed out so you can slide them over the stock paddles. There is then material on the inside so it is a snug friction fit. We even put indentations on the front and back to give it a bit more sporty feel.

So my question would be, would you buy these? The price point would be pretty fair. We are making them here in-house and want to know if this is a product that interests people. The nice thing is that it fits all PDK Porsche 991 Carrera and Turbo, 997.2 Carrera and Turbo, Cayman 987.2 and 981, Boxster 987.2 and 981, Panamera, and I think Cayenne with the factory paddle shifters. I have fit them on both my 991 Turbo and my Panamera Turbo.

So comment away!

While I'm no longer a Panamera owner - think it is a GREAT idea for those with the standard shift buttons. The more I drove my car when I had it I was annoyed by the buttons (sometimes would shift when making a turn). These look great and are a nice improvement over the stock buttons (cause that's what they are, not paddles). THESE are paddles.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but per previous posters comments I don't think these would work with the multi function wheels, only the sport steering wheel which already has paddles this just increases the size of the paddles correct?

Whoops. I stand corrected - you're right. That is the sport wheel.

Wonder if someone could make something like this for the multi function wheel thought?

TechArt do have the MF wheel paddle conversion kit.

@OP, the carbon paddle is definitely too wide that it ends up looking out of place.

Not a fan of the look at all - like the stock paddle look. If you replaced the stock paddle with similar size paddles made from carbon, maybe - but these look like an oversized add on.

Too big!
The paddles already obstruct the view of the fuel gauge (UK cars) these carbon add ons would make it even worse IMO

Don't like the look at all. I honestly prefer the stock paddle shifters on my multi-function wheel. Works fine, looks fine. Wouldn't change a thing.
