unlocking doors and closing hatch questions.

I forgot to ask these questions to my salesman... on my 2010 Panamera S.

1) my car only unlucks the driver's door when I hit the unluck button once...I have to hit it twice for the rest of the doors. Is there a way to change that setting so that all 4 doors unluck with just one hit of the button on the key?

2) Im in a wheelchair and it can be a pain to close the rear hatch when is open by hitting the button all the way up there... is there a way to program the key to close the hatch too? Im expecting the answer to be no...but I thought to ask just incase.

You can change the way unlocking behaves in the PCM settings.

No way to close the trunk with the key. It's a liability to the manufacturer.

yes you can unlock only the driver's door or unlock all 4 doors. the setting should be accessible through the dash. it may be accessible via the PCM / navigation screen, i don't remember for sure. there are also settings for how the door locks (engine start, drive-off, etc)

the trunk cannot be closed any other way but you can set the height of the opening so it doesn't open all the way and that may give you better access to it.

oh if I could get it to not open all the way it would be awesome... it would make the reaching up for the button less of a pain on the a$$...

if i remember correctly, setting it involves holding the close button. maybe open it, then hold the button when it reaches the height you want until it beeps. after that it won't open any higher. there's a way to reset it but i forgot how. double-check with the manual though, it's been a few years since i set mine.
