Differences: GTS vs Turbo excl engine????

Hi all...

Of course I know the difference in engines, but what else are the actual differences between the Pana GTS and the Turbo? I drove both recently and perhaps because of the servotronic on the Turbo, but the GTS had a much tighter steering (no servo). Without servo, does the turbo also have that steering ratio and feel?

What are some of the other key differences?

Thanks for your help

Not too much mechanical difference, except the engine. Both are AWD, have similar curb weight, and handle very much alike. If you want a better handling car than the GTS and the turbo, get the Panny S. It is 300-350 lbs lighter and has significantly better weight distribution. Before owning my current '11 PTT, I had a 11" Panny V6, handling was amazing- much more neutral than my current PTT. If you ask me why I ended up with a PTT, I would say that after owning a 12' CLS63, I am hooked on low RMP torque. Event a 911 GTS seemed boring after my CLS.

Edit: I would also forgo the PASM. I think PASM equipped cars are a little bouncy and loose, at least comparing my '11 Panny v6 to my current 11' PTT.

Interesting. I have a Pana S and had one before both with PASM. Yes a little bouncy but that's kind of what makes it the best of all worlds: comfort when you want it and a couple buttons for the fun.

When I drove a GTS last week there was a substantial difference in steering feel, tighter and more precise. Then drove a turbo and it felt looser like the S I drive. (Power comparison excluded here). Given some of the deals on Turbo's I've seen, I was considering it but prefer the feel of the gts. What I didn't focus in is what others comment about regarding it sitting lower and therefore driving former (comfort). I thought maybe it was the PDCC but both gts and turbo had PDCC. I'm so confused with all these options and differences. I'll have to drive them again of course (what a shame lol)

I suspect it is the sevtronic on the S and the Turbo that is the different from the GTS. Not sure about the seats, are gts seats different from the 2 types available for turbo and s (14-way or 18-way dynamic seats)? In terms of the PASM, one May have to special order it without. If I am not mistaken everything but the Panny v6 comes with PASM, I may be wrong though.

I am now aware of the servotronic. I prefer non servo but... Dealer has a 2013 turbo nicely equipped and excellent color combo with 12,000 miles. Demo, untitled. I am able to buy this for less than the 2013 gts with 7000 miles. I drove the turbo today and it did drive nice. A little plusher feel vs the gts and it does have servo. All in all because I think it's an excellent price for a $156k car, I can live with the servo. I will say the PDK was ironically the quietest I have ever heard. I did feel a slight hesitation and trembling on start, but it's a cold start after sitting a week or more.

The gts had burmester too, $133k Msrp. They wanted 106k. They also just brought in a used gts with 13k asking 102,900. Not sure of options on that one. In both cases, turbo is cheaper per my deal.
