which wheels for Agate Panamera Turbo?
I love 20s Turbo II. They are great looking wheels. I did find these Modulare wheels good looking too - maybe in a smaller size

Let us know if you have any questions or would like to see a render of one of our wheels on your car.
The ADV 1 do look quite nice. STOP! You're gonna make me spend money I don't want to. Lol. They look similar to the HRE which I also like. Great style. Maybe if I do some upgrades I'll splurge for a new set of rollers to change it up a bit.
For now, TURBO II it is! Thanks everyone for your feedback. Great thread.
Wish me luck, I'm expecting to pick up the turbo mañana afternoon. Can't wait.

I saw a member in here with some replica 22" Turbo II, I know some may frown upon replicas tho https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-2014-a-2.html
True, so if someone is going for look alone the weight shouldn't be a problem. I think I saw some numbers on the forum some where and the forged OEM 20" wheels were about 9lbs per tire lighter than a non forged 22" after market. Unless ur tracking and care about a track time I don't think 40lbs is that much of a big deal.
But at the same time some people just want the lightest possible so that's understandable. To each his own.

However, 40 pounds - at the corners of the car, rotating and being controlled by swings, sways and shocks and being influenced in acceleration/deceleration in 3 dimensions is a HUGE deal.
Watched a video clip last night of Jay Leno doing his car show "Jay Lenos' Garage". He was doing his review (accepting delivery I guess) of his 918 spyder. Porsche had their customer relations guy there for the 918. He specificially mentioned the Weisach package 918 being 90 pounds lighter, 30 of which were due to the use of magnesium wheels on that car. Remember the weisach package 918 is significantly faster around the racetrack.
If your goal is to look like your local pimp when you cruise your Panny - by all means, go with the 22s but anyone that thinks adding the added mass of the wheels is going to make their car anything but "look" faster is kidding themselves.
Exactly to my point if ur tracking a car and care about track times then that's significant to u. I would guess that most on this forum are not tracking their Panamera and most federal/state roads are not designed like race tracks to take advantage of the lighter wheels.
For me it's like bragging my phone has octacores knowing I would never use the phone to take advantage of it having octacores.
What I do disagree with is that 22's make ur panamera look like a pimp, aka ghetto, aka urban Panamera. I think the 22's are a nice medium between filling up the wheel well and not looking too big for the car. Ive seen a lot of Panamera's with 22's and for my taste 22's look best but to each his own.

If the car stops 60-0 on the street with stock 20's at x weight in say 100 feet (think oh crap I gotta stop this car now or I'm going to hit the car in front of me) and the 22's come in (plus the weight of the tire) at x+++, now that same stop is in 105-110 feet. Might make the difference between cleaning your pants out after a panic stop and picking the pieces of your panamera off the pavement. Same with acceleration. Line up 2 identical cars, same driver only difference being the 20 vs. 22 and the 20 should win every time. A lot less energy is wasted getting that extra 40 pounds moving. (not considering the effect of different diameter impact on gearing).
I do think there is a touch too much fender gap. And I think the cars with air suspension on 20's is about perfect. Slammed is cool too - for something that's a show car - it's not practical for street use.

good luck and congrats. We'll be here if you decide to get wheels later on, no pressure
I didn't mean to start an argument, but it comes down to looks vs performance and after 40 years of building cars you learn a few things and one of them is sometimes you have to choose between the two. For me I like certain looks (body kits wings etc) and I have had these things on many of my cars and they usually did nothing to enhance performance but they also did not take anything away. Perhaps I feel things more than most but I can feel the extra weight and mass bigger wheels have and in a SUV or an average sedan it would not matter but on a car the ours it does. I remember a few years ago someone wanted me to drive their Lambo(I have some experience with theses cars turned a Gallardo to RWD back in 05) after they put these huge wheels on it (they thought it handled better than stock). Well the car felt like a mack truck and I could not wait to get out of it. I say it is your car do what you like but sometimes what looks good and what is good for performance do not go well together!
