Since nobody answered I tried to figure out how to disassemble it, first you have to pull up the grey plastic between the ducts , two clips , pull up the wooden part in between , four clips , you ll find eight screws , retaining the right and left modules and the ducts to the underlying frame, the tricky part is removing the ducts, each one is SWIVELLED to its side, and the right, left and the underlying board raises as a one unit, both modules are retained by engagement lips and a cable to the main middle board here are some pics, time to do the job less than ten minutes- I m a doctor by the way.

Yes, I agree but the stealership asked for 2500$ to replace , I took it to a shop that fixes such boards, and a 10$ IC was the cause !!!! Paid the shop 50$ and it is working again... At more than one occasion with my three Porsches I found that what is wrong was something really tiny and doesn t justify replacing the whole system , but unfortunately the dealership won t fix, it replaces only
Anyways I am sharing my experience for the general benefit

Just saw this or I would have responded with how to. It is not difficult to do. I have removed the entire interior trim including seats, door panels, carpets etc. it is a pain and things break easily as in other P cars. Get a good trim removal tool kit and you should be good. Just make sure the removal tool is a flexible type and not rigid. HF has a good one. eBay orange kit is no good.

Make sure to seat back and torque the center panel or it will make noises.
