This thread should just close. You will kill your kids if you try to put 3 in the back. Just buy something different. Go grab a RS7

Thankyou guys all & I appreciate the responses, wow this forum is a realtreasure

Iguess I agree with most of you guys, the Panny GTS alone isn’t for me . I’d haveto think of something else which fits my needs. Or just have to buy a familyhauler in parallel with the GTS, but budget is still an issue. we don't like wagon cars or SUVs. I'm not either a Bimmer fan due to reliability issues. The Panamera V-6 models don’t attract me like the GTS. The GTS’spower, exhaust note, looks, performance and handling is unmatched OMHO. Of course, I’m not planningto test the power or sportinies while kids are in car, but this is for adults thrill as i usually spend more than 70% of the time in the car alone orwith wife/friends due to work nature and the other 30 % with kids. I will keep you posted of myfinal decision on my new ride.

I'dstill welcome any insights or speculations if Porsche is planning to address this issue in upcoming models.
Thanksagain;

If you can find a RS8 - it would work for you. S8 is an alternative. Very fast car. A friend of mine has a S8 with ferrari engine (they dont make them like that any more). That car is super fast. 3.8sec for 0-60. Fast.

Rs8?

Hmm... An Audi RS8 would be really cool. I didn't know that Audi made an 8 series in RS packaging. Also, does anyone have details on the RS6 with the Ferrari engine? If I can't get an RS8, I may be willing to cancel my Panamera Turbo S order if I can get an RS6 with a Ferrari engine. Does anyone have details or pictures on either of those cars?

If I recall correctly, it was a V 10 on the last gen S6 (similar to that in the Lamborghini Gallardo). The former RS6 had a souped up version and was available in Europe as a twin turbo charged V 10 in the RS6. The current gen S6 and RS6 are turbo charged V8 that to the best of my knowledge have nothing to do with Ferrari

I cannot believe you are even letting this small dilemma hesitate your decision. Of course, the most logical and rational decision here is to just get rid of one of the children. Good luck friend .

Guys stop making things up. I live in Europe very close to Germany and I also worked for Audi Gmbh.
There is no such thing as an Audi RS8 and Audi RS6 with a Ferrari engine.
Lol

2009 Audi S8 came with a v10 lambo engine (not ferrari - my mistake)

here is a VERY NICE video of the RS8 vs R8. 4.2sec 0-60mph. Not bad.

2013 Audi S8 VS Audi R8 V8 1/4 mile - YouTube
And I repeat. There is no such thing as an RS8. The title of the video clearly says S8 vs R8
