It's been a while since I posted in this thread. But just wanted to share some of my thoughts on the 11' PTT that got 4 months ago.

Just to give you the picture. Prior to the PTT, I owned a Panamera V6 and a 911 GTS. Decided to sell the GTS and the Panny V6 to settle down on 1 car, the PTT. Prior the the GTS, I had a 12' MB CLS63 monster that was making 630 HP to the wheels.

Now this PTT was CPO car from the dealer that had 164K original MSRP, white with cream interior.

So here you go: the best car I have ever driven, period. The beauty lies in the dynamics. The faster you drive the better it feels, and the handling is sublime. The only difference in fun factor compared to the GTS is that you will have to be driving the PTT about 30 MPH faster to feel the same fun. No question though, it puts a wider smile on my face than the 911 GTS. After all, I got addicted to instant torque with my late CLS63.

My only gripe with the car. I cannot hear the sport exhaust in the cabin, I guess to much insulation.

Oh, and forgot to mention, the build quality and solidity is also unsurpassed. It may be one the best cars ever made.

Edit: I have a F80 M3 coming soon. The winner will become my daily driver

 

Is it worth upgrading from 4s to turbo. This question although not very specific however was wondering if someone can share their experiences when comparing the two.

 

Easy fix! After driving with and without an exhaust upgrade - Im convinced every PTT owner should seriously consider an upgrade (downpipes and cat back exhaust)... Car can sound just fabulous with the right mods

 

Not to mention bread will have a little more pop I upgraded from 4s to turbo in 7 months no ever driving or in a turbo just read a lot what guys were getting out of their turbos with ecu and such. Loved the 4s and couldn't imagine what those turbos would feel like. Don't regret the change at all love this car. And can't wait to get a tune will haul azz

 

I have driven my friend's S multiple times, and although the handling is on par, the power difference is huge. We are not talking about slightly better this or that, it is a big difference in torque that you will feel every day in daily driving. I don't see anyone regretting the upgrade.

 

yeah not to mention the upgrading / mod potential with just a tune adding 90+ hp (if you're into that sort of thing)...

Anyone have any in-cabin video/audio clips (w/ their exhaust upgraded) they want to post?? Curious to hear different in-cabin results...

 

You will find many treads on this forum with exhaust clips. Just search 'exchaust' and go over a few posts. Some contain videos.

 

But what about "in cabin" clips? Can't really find those and that was the OP drawback to the PTT...
