I love the PTT, but I miss the 911 after going to LeMans this year, so this should fix that problem.
My 2014 991 GT3 is at the port, so i'll have it soon.

The car is a 2014 VIN #470. It was in production when PAG stopped the line to replace the engines. It went back into production and was finished on 6/24/14.

First off, congrats on the GT3! Awesome two car stable.
Longboat Key is a great spot. I have clients down there and look forward to visiting in the winter. Question for you. WHERE do you go to drive and enjoy your cars? My experience was that your area has more old people driving slow and cops than an old mutt has fleas. Brutal.
Curious where there is good driving?

 

Sebring is an hour and 15 min. away.

 

Not that it matters too much but you have to get the base sound system in a GT3? Can't even get Bose?

 

Good question as to where. Long Boat is beautiful and near siesta key, the circle etc - but for a fun Porsche drive - I'm still looking for a good place. My SA took me somewhere in NE Tampa - was a nice twisty road. I've not found many others (and can't remember where that one is!)

 

I am building a home in Bay Isles. It's about 7-8 months from completion. I have a 2011 PTT. I told my wife that I may not bring it down because there are so many slow drivers and police on LBK and vicinity that I can't imagine where I'd drive it. If I can't drive it the way it's meant to be driven there's no reason to keep it. I was going to sell it and buy a 550 SL. Please tell me there's some roads that I don't know about so I can drive the way I like instead of just basking in the sun.

Was considering a 911 cab, but same issue. Slow roads, slow drivers and police EVERYWHERE. Help!

 

A few observations about LBK area driving;
GMD on LBK is a parking lot from Nov-April.
I 75 moves at 75-90 most of the time.
There are many roads east of I 75 that are very rural and offer the chance to let your PTT breath.
