Panamera Insurance rates

I am curious on what Panamera owners are paying for auto insurance. I'm sure it varies for all models and I wanted to shop around and move to a different auto insurance company. i'm currently paying $120 a month for mine. Is this a good or bad rate?

That sounds in line with mine. I'm surprised it's so low.

It will all depend on soooooo many factors, I will tell you, that on my policy, I went from a 2011 550i to a 2013 Panamera GTS and my insurance went down $5 per 6mo ... The Panamera is worth 3X as much. Prior to the 550i, I had an Audi R8 on the policy, when I switched to the 550i, it actually INCREASED... I don't get it.

Don't know what type or year Panamera you have but that is cheap in comparison. I pay north of 2500 per year for a 2010 PTT, and that's with max. discount for clean driving record. At least it was cheaper than I thought it was going to be.

Don't know exact figures off the top of my head, but I went from a 2013 X5M to a 2014 Panamera 4S and my rate went up significantly.

$570/year. Which is $30 less than my E63. I don't have any other premium sport sedans on the policy.

I won't post policy coverage limits but they are high. Umbrella liability is in addition to the premiums above. Premium for umbrella is pocket change.

If you own a Porsche (or any newer luxury vehicle) then perhaps consider increasing your deductibles. Or consider moving to a state which doesn't have runaway accident litigation costs.

If you haven't put your coverage out for competitive evaluation in the past two or three years, consider doing so. Insurers will pork you pretty good year over year. My rates dropped by ~60% when I left my previous insurer three years ago. Both are/were considered high-end policies.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how low my rate was compared to my prior 550. I guess all the reports are true that Porsches are really low on maintenance compared to other luxury brands.

Out of the 3 vehicles I had (pontiac G6 as a daily driver, F150 FX2 crew cab truck and Cayenne S) the Porsche was the cheapest to insure!! Even with full coverage on the Porsche it was cheaper then the G6 with liability only!!
