Hi,

I have Boxster with Bose audio and it is time to make space for the new kids. Hence a Panamera and likely design my own, rather than a package.

I don't like the artificially wrong boominess of the Bose in the car I have now, so now is the time for me to "put-up or shut-up" when it comes to the audio package.

Trunk space is going to be key to getting "approval" to purchase. We checked yesterday - our pushchair fits in the Panamera trunk without the Bermeister. Nice.

The spec pages say things like "Bermeister sub-woofer reduces trunk space".... but I can't find if this is 1/2" or 2" difference.

I've had two or three salespeople tell me that they don't know the answer, which makes me think it actually takes up quite a bit of space.

What is the actual answer?

Thanks, John

Burmister sub is under the trunk floor next to battery. If you order non burmister car you will gain a box of 15x15x6 under the trunk floor for extra small item storage.

It doesn't really reduce the "normal" trunk space...
