Talking oil change/service reminder reset

hi, 2010 Pan S with 20K…
need to do oil change…i did one at 5K but with the engine eating up a quart every 2000 miles it seems, i've been just dumping oil and haven't had time to change …i know, filter.., but i'm gonna change it maybe this weekend….

question is; do i have to goto dealer to reset the service reminder ?

i got quote of $200 to $400 for an oil change at the walters and newport porsche dealers…. damn…. no time, just gonna put it on my lift and do it myself ….

also, for 20K mile 'service', $800…. doesn't that entail fluid and some visual checks ? i think i can do that for 'free'…i ll take a look under the hood myself….

Durametric cable & software will reset the service reminders. There are 3 different service reminders/intervals on the Panamera.

Give us a call when you need the Minor service (20K) we are about $200 less than that! Same Porsche maintenance checklist, and we also use the PIWIS 2 from Porsche to reset all service reminders correctly.

Per the Porsche Factory Maintenance Manual on the 20K (Minor) Service for your Panamera:

As far as the audio upgrade and the corresponding PCM update - that's something that Porsche has specific codes for programming, and unfortunately does not release them to the public. It would have to be something performed at the dealership!

On a cayenne all you have to do is simontenously press both rotary controls on the steering wheel and hold it for few sec. Did anybody tried that? Let us know
