Detailing
These seem to be two types of detailers around here your basic ones that do a decent job of washing and waxing (you pay between $175-225 to them) and then there are the lets take it to a show after their done type and for them you will pay anywhere from $400 on up. These guys usually need the car for at least a day depending on what you want done. My Panamera lives in a garage most of the time so I just use the basic guys and I have mine done at least every three months.
I have to agree with Mr. Price. If you want a good detail with wax and interior clean including carpets, then your probably looking at $150-200.
The better ones will also offer what called paint correction which is when they wax, wash, clean interior, but in addition will power buff all the clear coat scratches on your exterior car from front to back. This will take them several hours, and even longer if your car is black or dark color. This can run about $300-500 depending on your relationship with the detailer. This will restore your paint to look as new as he can get it. They usually include a paint sealer. I have had them put Opti-coat on a previous car of mine, but there is a product called collinite that is also very good, but will not last as long as the Opti-coat. The opt-coat is also more expensive as you can imagine.
I have not heard of C-quartz.

I purchased a black Panamera that was a year old and maintained great. I had a complete paint correction and a product called 22CPL ( I think that is what it was called). It cost $750 but the car looks better than a showroom car. I had it done about 6 months ago and still look like I put a coat of wax on each time I wash it.
It also does not let dust stick to it and stays clean much longer than normal and better than CQUARTZ.

I too did a lot of research wanting to apply some kind of protective coating, it looks like OptiCoat Pro and CQUARTZ are the most popular choices. I was told that CQUARTZ leaves your car a bit more shinier than OptiCoat Pro. In SoCal area this procedure will cost you around $900 if you also do your brake calipers (which I think anyone doing this should do as well).
Most of these products are sold directly to "dealers/detailers" so that you can't do it yourself and save money, otherwise it's a pretty straight forward DIY project as long as you have patience and time. You can have your car detailed and paint corrected if it needs to and then apply that coating yourself.
