PCCB rotors in GTS (410mm) Are they still good?

Hi guys,

Recently just bought Panamera GTS 2012 with 40k km mileage.

It has PCCB brake system and I wonder if cracks visible on those discs are something normal in this car. Especially cracks which you can see around bolts (quite deep).
Pictures shows front discs 410mm.

I would appreciate any opinion and if you have also 410mm front discs, could you post pictures to see if there is any difference?

Thanks!
Mike

I am not 100% sure here, but I think they are okay and the cracks you are seeing is normal. The PCCB discs is expected to last "forever" so 40k is nothing.

Cracks are totally normal. So you're good to go.
Scratches would have been an issue though.

Thanks for help guys .

P.Viby: I'm not so worried about cracks and scratches on the disc itself rather than those deep cracks in the area where pads are not touching the discs (inner circle). Those cracks which are around mounting bolts. I don't see them on your photo. Although I don't have them around every bolt, few bolts looks like yours and few have deep cracks only on that inner circle.

I see what you mean, but I still don't think you need to worry about it. But to be sure I would let Porsche take a look at them. With the approved on the car, they have to be okay in order to pass that.
