Sticky Brakes

I have a 2010 PS. I've noticed that when I'm going 35 to 50 mph, the brakes are incredibly noisy. When I go faster and stop, nothing. I Googled and it looks like this is a common problem with this year. Anyone ever had this and what did you do to fix it?

You've had a ton of thread views, and no replies... I suspect it's because (if I'm not alone) your post is incredibly unclear.

Are you saying you are getting squeaky noise from your wheels when you are travelling 30-50mph?

More information is always better than less.

Condition(s) under which you experience the issue(s)?
How many miles on your car?
How many miles since your last service?
How many miles since your last brake service?

What is your braking style?

Hi, ace10.

Here's another forum where someone posted about the same issue that I have. Maybe it will describe it better.

i had really bad squeeky brakes like a big rig or truck braking... high pitch squeal could be heard from far. Got brand new brake pads regardless (if a couple months left per dealer) had them replaced, never heard of noise again. stock brake pads.

The noise was super embarassing especially for a 100K car sounding like a beater braking.

2010Panny4s,

Were yours squealing at all speeds? Mine only does it at speeds below 50 mph. You're so right. My baby is at 110k and I hate hearing that noise and feeling like everyone is staring.

at speeds and worse at anything below 30mph at slow breaking when close to a stop sign or stop light.

I did the whole setting the brake thing where you speed up to 60plus then brake hard to clean out the disk brake... that only helps for a day or 2 then back to mac truck brake squeel again after.
