S card system
S card system
Hey I just picked up a used 2014 Panamera GTS from a Mercedes dealer with 2400 miles on it. It came with a these 2 cell phone battery looking pieces in the glove box. The container says it says its part of the Porsche S card system. I think it is a vodaphone componant that notifies you if your car has moved. It looks like it would connect with the Porsche Car Connect, but it doesn't look like that was an option on this car. I looked under vehicle settings and there is no "greyed out" Porsche car connect option.
Does anyone know what this is for? I'm sure the prior owner used it for something but they are not available for contact.

PCC is standard on the PSeH.
There were no extraneous hardware components delivered with the car when new. Just an activation code for the smartphone app (assuming your delivering dealer handles it correctly, which mind didn't).

I take it the only way I can see a build sheet is if I go to my dealer? I didnt know there was such a thing unless you ordered your porsche to your specifications.
our '15 GTS didn't come with one, but found this -- http://www.porscheownersmanuals.com/...anamera/8/248/
Could this be an anti-theft tracker?
