20" Wheel Question

I have the 20" graphite wheels on my 2012 P4S. I've settled on buying 19" for the winter.... but my current wheels have some curb rash that drives me crazy. Plus, I want black wheels. Has anyone powdercoated or painted these 20" wheels black? Or does anyone have photoshop skills to see what this would look like?

If you're talking about the 20' Turbo II wheels, I am considering the same thing.
There is a guy with a black Turbo in my neighborhood who has had them painted gloss black. They look good, but they seem to disappear on a black car if you know what I mean. There is not enough contrast, so the wheels also end up looking smaller than they are.

I was considering matt black also but am still looking into various other options.

Yes I believe those are the Turbo IIs on my car (in my avatar). Is there anyway you could take a close up photo of a wheel of his and post it? With my car being white what you mentioned should be less of an issue for me but I think it is always possible with black wheels.

I concur.. As someone mentioned above the 20's tend to look smaller after they've been blacked out. The rims in the above picture are 22 inch rims. The turbo 2 wheels will not look the same after they have been blacked out.. Keep that in mind..

Here is a pic of the black Turbo ii wheels.
Sorry it's not a great pic and I don't know the owner so I couldn't ask him to clean them first

I ended up getting the OEM Spyder wheels painted in black with a polished lip (narrower polished lip than the stock option)
Got them installed today and am very happy with this decision.
Also moved the OEM 5mm Spacers to the front and installed 10mm ECS Spacers at the rear.

Nice look guys =) When I get my stock rims powdercoated, they will be much blacker than that guy's hopefully!
