Every time I start my PTT, the stereo turns on. This only happens on my key, not my wife's. I don't really use the stereo, and it certainly isn't on when I turn off the car.

I tried looking through settings and the manual and couldn't find the answer. Am I missing something?

 

Stereo settings are memorized in keys.
To my knowledge, the only ways to mute stereo at startup are

• set volume to 0
• set source to Aux (with no input)

prior to lock door.

 

turn off stereo and set your memory seats... it is programmed into your setting when you memorized your seat, with the stereo on
