Question in regards to our Trans going into limp mode with too much torque. Is there a way inside the mapping to trick the computer to not back off torque. Some systems read the hp output and back it off assuming that's what ours does. Yes I know for safety reasons do we know what hp and torque our Trans can handle?? Anyone added another Trans cooler to help keep it cooled. Just thinking out loud. I'm sure someone has the Riddle on these pdks solved but keeping it hush hush. Lol. Once I figure it out I'll Def let u all know. I'd love to get close to max airflow of these upgraded turbos. Around 8. Just figure a collective of ideas is better than a couple
Watching the cayenne and what they are putting down on our motor shows it can handle that. Just the pdk is the question. Thx all and happy 2016 btw

Over the years I have blown probably 5 transmissions (including one in the cab shown). The one in my 997 was sourced in Japan (yup) and not the most sturdy thing I have ever seen. Keep in mind in that it is not the power and the torque as much as the way it is delivered that ends up blowing things up.
True I wonder what the max it can handle. Since Porsche is certainly conservative with its safety features as they have shown on all their models. Things that make you go hummmmm
