4s to turbo s

Taking delivery of 2013 Pan Turbo S tomorrow. Bought w/o ever driving a turbo so pumped for new driving experience. Car has most of what I'm looking for including Burmeister, PDCC, blk/blk. With a car that MSRP just under 200k...what are other options that would be desirable? Looking to find out what I may have missed. Also, got CPO into 2019. Feedback appreciated!!

Sport Chrono was standard on the Turbo S - really most performance options were. The expensive option is ceramic brakes and then most everything else falls into the cosmetic/convenience options of which there are too many to list. Coming out of a 4S you'll love the pull and hate the exhaust :-)

Turbo S is pretty much king of the hill of P-cars. Just remember that you've got to pay to play. What kind of mileage is on that '13?

Congrats!

Took delivery from transport and immediately jumped in for a test drive Acceleration was exhilarating as I reached 100 mph it seems like a few seconds
Sport exhaust seems more tame than my 4s. Appt Next week to put Pirelli snows on. Hope ride isn't compromised too much!!

S has 25k on it. It's a bomb...seem like every trooper in state was out yesterday. Thanks Leslie! Anything else worth paying for?

Extended LED light package, rear fridge, crests in seats, 4-way climate, cooled seats, heated steering, black headlights w/PDLS, gloss black window trim, and if you really want to go out, noise insualated glass. (friend has it on his 2010)

Ceramic brakes and rear entertainment not important for me and as such never a deal breaker for me.

Congratz and welcome to the dark side. I remember avoiding the turbo when I was looking for my first 1. The 4s was fun. After reading everyone's posts on here went and started the journey for a turbo and haven't looked back. I love my meiserchaft exhaust have fun upgrading

One question I have re:turbos. Bringing car in to dealer for some tire changes. Wanted to know if there is any service or diagnostics that can be done to check on the turbos and if they are operating at peak performance?

I'm sure wastegate function may be able to be checked via computer but physically checking turbos for shaft play/leaks would require access to the compressor housings. Not and easy task on the Pana TT.

I was speaking in terms of the tires and maintenance but, yes, there also is the issue of those pesky troopers!

Please enjoy!

Congrats my friend, the acceleration with the turbo model is amazing, but you will find often that you will be going faster than you think. Be careful, it is very deceiving. My first week with my TTS, I couldn't believe how fast I was going as I thought I was going much slower than the speedometer indicated. HA HA.... enjoy, and BE SURE you get a radar detector.

+1 on the radar detector advise. I got the valentine and now wish I had a way to detect the speed cameras. Maybe think about that when shopping.

In the ptt I'm constantly going 40 in a 20 and such on accident. Had to start using cruise control in the city more often lol! Can't imagine the TTS. Please report back on how fun/fast it is!

Enjoy.

Unfortunately snowstorm has derailed my ability to enjoy fast and furious currently. Hope to get back out soon and enjoy the immense torque that I briefly got to enjoy. Put Pirelli snows on which ride real smooth.... Loving the ride along with Burmester sound system which I seem to be constantly adjusting sound settings. I enjoy everyone's comments on ptt and ptts. Welcome any comments or suggestions.

The only other comment I have for a new turbo owner is that these cars burn some oil. There have been a couple of threads in the forum about this, but you should check your oil level periodically to see if you are getting low. You may burn through a quart about every 3000-5000 miles depending on how you drive. Keep a quart in your car or your garage to add when needed. You will find this oil level gauge in your instrument cluster, as there is no dipstick under the hood.
