Psm and engine failure

I was driving my Panamera on the highway when suddenly the psm light and engine light came on and car began to run limb I pulled over and could barely steer the car off the road due to the steering being hard to control I turned the car off and now it do not start back up I read up on it and see it can be a few things wrong did anyone have this issue before?

That happened to me once. They took it in and said was a bad coil. Haven't had an issue since

Same experience early on in my P4S...turned out to be a bad sensor. Anyway, apparently as a precaution the engine powers-down when PASM fails. Sometimes, turning the car completely off and restarting resets everything.
