It started as a bad bushing.....

Had some squeaking coming from the front passenger side suspension. Thought maybe an issue with air suspension or bushing. Ended up being bad bushings. Dealer replaced upper and lower control arms and tie rods on both sides. Then noticed a wobble at normal driving speeds and serious wobble under heavy acceleration. They ended up tracing the source of the wobble to the front diff. They were actually able to unplug a wire from a harness, de-activating the front diff, temporarily making my car RWD. Wobble disappeared so they ended up replacing the front differential and some other items they discovered in the process. Thankfully it's CPO and all being covered under warranty!!!

Went to check on the car today and front differential has been replaced successfully.....however the wobble was still present during the road test. They are now thinking the transmission may be the problem. Porsche NA Rep being contacted and I'm wondering what next? Maybe a new transmission? Crazy. I miss the turbo power

Got my car back today, finally, and everything seems fine. Service tech notes below for details of the entire ordeal.

Yeah. All that needed to be changed was the axle piece. Over a month of digging and no one bothered to look at the axle.

Wow, I would have thought that an axle issue would have crossed their minds sooner, if not for the price of the part alone. Glad to see it was relatively simple to fix.

Also nice to see a Boulder guy on the forum (Thornton guy here).

Family in Boulder (dad has a new Targa4S) but I'm living in Chicago currently. Every time I'm out west I wish I had my car with me so I could tear up those mountain roads!
