I have noticed that sometimes when I lock my car it beeps rapidly 4-5 times instead of 2. This has happened when i use the key fob and also when I use the hatch lid close/lock button. Each time it happens, if I unlock it with the key fob and then re-lock it I get the normal 2 beeps. It happens even when all doors and windows are closed fully. I'm curious why this is happening.

Any ideas? Anybody else have this issue?

Turns out, the alarm horn (the one that chirps when you set the alarm) had a short. Just got it replaced by the dealer who noticed it then fixed it.
