Then the answer is no. It prevents itself from discoloration from UV but that text does NOT say it blocks UV from the painted surface. Big difference yet an interesting distinction.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I ever have to replace the seat covers, I'll do that. I do notice the leather on the 911 driver seat is starting to show its age.
